A World War II Japanese soldier...

Once when I was little, I saw the ghost of a Japanese soldier. It almost dark and we were playing hide and seek at one of our friend's house. His house was very isolated and it had this long dirt driveway leading up to the house. There was tall grass on the sides of the road and that's where my other friend and I were hiding. I got up to peek and that when I saw him, the Japanese soldier. He had some kind of stick in his hand. He lifted it up and then brought it down on something in the grass. No one else saw this but later, one of our friends said that something fell out nowhere and hit him on the head when he was hiding in the grass. It was the very spot I saw the Japanese soldier. No one believed me. They say it was too dark to see anything. I think they were too scared of the possibility of a ghost.

Tales of the third child...

I'm somewhat of a middle child. I'm the third child out of four. I used to be the baby until I was five, and my mom came home with no belly poking out and a little sister. She was cute, but I lost my position as the baby of the family! Didn't affect me that much, I was still daddy's little girl. Oh my gosh, I could do no wrong in my dad's eyes! Looking back now, I feel bad about my brothers! They were accused and blamed for everything! :-)

Surprise! Happy Birthday!

A suprise birthday dinner at a local Chinese restaurant. It was so awesome! I was a little down that day. I was in training to spend a whole year in Iraq. I was away from my family. My ex-boyfriend who coincidentally had the same birthday got a cake from his new girlfriend in shape of her boobs. My friends totally came through! I didn't have cake but I had a ice cream sundae complete with bananas in cherry sauce. Rainbow sprinkles!

I tried to read 'Lord of the Rings'....

Gosh! This book! I never made it past page 6. I tried so many times to read this book! Finally, I just gave up! Maybe one day, I will find my way back to it. Hopefully, I will find the patience, too.

My invention: phone robot to call my mother.

I would invent a phone robot. It would remind myself to call my mother, then turn around, call my mother at the appointed time, and pretend to be me. We both win! My mother can get it off her chest what a disappoint I am to her and how perfect my oldest brother is... and my self esteem doesn't suffer!! Yay!

I hope they say she could be a real bitch at my funeral...

she could be a real bitch
Because I can be when provoked. But seriously, I want them to tell stories about how I fit in their lives and their favorite memories with me....

Everybody wants to be remembered, right?

I wish I'd been there for the whole college experience....

University College London

What experience did you miss out on and wish you'd been a part of?....

It would have to be the whole college experience. Living in dorms, living of my parents hard earned money, having no real responsibilities, meeting new people and making new friends, frat parties.... It's not too late for it, but in a way it is...

I want to be proficient in sign language...

If you had to lose one of your senses for a year, which one would it be? I pick hearing. I want to learn sign language. When I was little, I learned the alphabet and my friends and I used to sign words across the classroom. When I was in high school, my guardian had his voice box taken out due to cancer. I learned a little about reading lips. But mostly, I want to see if I can easily learn sign language. It's not the same when you can hear the words. I want the whole experience.

Family ritual #1: Christmas Reunion at the Grandparents..

Christmas Reunion at the Grandparents..
My grandparents had 12 children. So every Christmas, we would have a family style reunion event at their house. It always ends up the same. Enough food to feed a whole army, children everywhere, and that drunk uncle we always have to pick up from somewhere. Fun times. :-)

Frosted Flakes.

Frosted Flakes Box

Frosted Flakes or Corn Pops. Just dry, no milk. When the dining facility is far and it's a 130 degrees outside... those cereals are great meals! They made my 15 months in Iraq!

Have I told you about the time I won free jewelry?

I was in a department store and they were holding a raffle. I got my and the instructions was to say a word they gave you when they called your number. They called my number but before I could say anything, this old lady started yelling that she won! It was kind of funny because she was 5 numbers off. They still gave her a prize, and I still got my a gold necklace with a Swarovski crystal pendant. Win win!

Let me tell you a secret....

Let me tell you a secret....

I think this every single day... Pack up my favorite shirts and my jewelry and leave. To not think about the consequences. To not care about the people that are left behind... because some times I do think they are holding me back from happiness. From adventure.

Journals, books, pillows, and maybe candy...

My journal kit
This includes numerous journal books, pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, and crayons. I love writing down random ideas and drawing pretty flowers and butterflies.

A book: To Kill A Mockingbird
My favorite book. I can read it over and over again.

My giant body pillow
I'm one of those people that needs a ridiculous amount of pillows. I figure my giant body pillow will have to do. If not, I might have to steal or bribe people...

I remember matching outfits!

Red Dress Jump

I remember matching my outfits with next door neighbor girl for kindergarten. Our houses were quite near so instead of using the telephone, we would yell out the windows. "What color underwear are you wearing today?! Wear the purple dress!"

It's hard to apologize when I've hurt someone's feelings

I can be a real jerk sometimes. Most of the time, they deserved it. But when I know I hurt their feelings and I'm wrong, it's really hard to apologize without looking like a real jerk. That's why now I get all the details before I do or say anything.

Requirement #1 for a good day: Festival or a Carnival on a sunny day!

Festival or a Carnival
Sunshine. Carnival rides. Colorful customes. Funnel cake. Giant corndogs. Snow cones. Brisket sandwiches. Lots and lots of handmade jewelry booths.

I'll finish 'The Historian' one day...

I have been struggling to read this book! I have started it, but it seems the only time I read it is when I'm in the waiting room of a hospital or clinic! It's very interesting but it's starting so slow!

'IT' was a scary movie

I am terrified of clowns. That movie did not help at all!

I'm the biggest procrastinator.

School children singing, Pie Town, New Mexico (LOC)

What are you avoiding doing? Why haven't you done it yet?

School. Looking for a real job. Laziness. Scared that my brain stopped working. Don't want to start all over. Suffering anxiety attacks at starting something new. Brainwashed. Don't know how to even start. Depressed. Need new friends. Need to lose weight. Addicted to the internet. Love free time. Need a to find the right place to start. Need to gather energy to start. Need motivation. So many reasons why not...

If I had to, I'd spend a week in a treehouse... or a tent

If I had to, I'd spend a week in a treehouse... or a tent.... but never in a underground bunker. Very claustrophobic. In the treehouse or the tent, at least there's a possibility of two or more open spaces, more escape routes, more exits, and definitely no chance of being buried alive.

Randomness. Just total randomness.

Randomness. Just total random ramblings, opinions, ideas, suggestions and observations. And sarcasm, but it has to be funny sarcasm. That's what makes someone funny to me.

One of my friends when I first met him, I thought he was such a serious person. Then one day he made a totally random funny observation about this woman who had robot hair in the dining facility. It was so dead on! I swear every time I saw that woman, I could still hear him!

Sometimes people are just funny without even trying. One of our friends was so klutzy that whenever he came in with an "oh no!" look on his face, we knew he had dropped or ran over something. It was a long running joke to blame him for whatever was destroyed. Don't feel bad for him! 97% of the time, it was his fault!

Some people just have it, some work hard to be.

I don't get fractions...

Tessellation Postage Stamp Mathematics Deutsches Museum

Mathematics! I can do simple math like addition and multiplication but I draw the line at fractions. Fractions and beyond, I start losing all my math knowledge. It starts making my head hurt and when someone tries to explain... it's all mumbo jumbo. I've tried and tried to understand it! I even got a tutor! That didn't help at all. I barely passed my math classes in high school! Algebra classes made high school hell!!

I would not do high school again.

I would not pick a specific group to hang out with in high school. The thing is, my high school was very very small. The whole student body came to 200. Basically, you knew everybody in the whole school. I was a "floater". Never really in any of the groups.

* Jocks: everbody was involved in some kind of sport. Even me, who not very athletic, was in paddling (home is an island surrounded by water).

* Math nerds: a group I never ever fit in. I was a great student but my math skills pulled down my grades. Luckily, the guy I sat next to for 4 years was a math whiz. He was horrible at english which was my best subject. Trade!

* Band geeks: everybody was in band! I played clarinet, not good though but enough to be in the mandatory christmas shows.

* We had no drama but we had Japanese language. I can say: Hi! My name is... Yup! 2 years of Japanese! I wish I had actually paid attention...

* Popular crowd: I had friends in that group. I hung out with them but when they start doing drugs, getting crazy drunk or something stupid like that, I just go back to my nerdy peeps. :-)

* Stoners: yup, had those, too. They went to the public high school. They introduced me to the joys of mary jane but I wasn't very impressed... Okay, maybe one time when we were out kayaking and we had some really really good weed!

I would not do high school again.

Not a hero...

I have never been a hero but I have been very outspoken numerous times for people that were not treated right. Let's just say I have made a enemies that way. I believe in equal rights, and I am outraged when people are screwed over and are too scared to speak for themselves. I do it for them but not always in the most tactful or respectful to the people that did the screwing.

Scarlett is definitely worth the read...

Because it's a sequel to Gone With the Wind! If you were like me and skipped two days of shool to read Gone With the Wind, you didn't want it to end just like that. You'll want closure! I spent weeks looking for this book! I also skipped school to read it! It's closure to an awesome book.

My life would make a great comedrama movie

I totally made that up! Here's what I want my life movie to be: a mix of comedy with action-adventure! But truthfully, it's all drama.

One of my quirks: Road Rage

Road Rage
If I'm driving, I have a slight case of road rage. Only against really really really bad drivers!

If I'm not driving,I'm probably knocked out 3/4ths of the driving part of the trip! As much as I am excited about road trips, it always happens!

Dreams. dreams, and bad dreams...

Being murdered. Someone cut my throat and left me to die. I bled to death.

It was a little awkward. It could mean...

Murder

Violent end.Loss of control over a situation.Sorrow and failure.

Death

End of a cycle. Something is finally over.

It was about a month ago. But I don't have anything that ended.

Maybe it was the end of my dreams. Lately I can't remember my dreams when I wake up.

Life lessons....

Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Very self explanatory.

Always keep an open mind.
Don't judge.

Honesty is the best policy.
A lesson I learned from my dad. He's in politics but he's so ruthlessly honest that the other members hate him. They even went out of their way to slander him. The funny thing is my dad won by a landslide!

'Jane Eyre' all the way!

In high school, my guardians were English Lit. teachers. They had an awesome collection of the classics. I read most of the them. I feel like now is the time to go back to reading those kind of books. Besides this is an awesome book.
