I'll finish 'The Historian' one day...

I have been struggling to read this book! I have started it, but it seems the only time I read it is when I'm in the waiting room of a hospital or clinic! It's very interesting but it's starting so slow!

'IT' was a scary movie

I am terrified of clowns. That movie did not help at all!

I'm the biggest procrastinator.

School children singing, Pie Town, New Mexico (LOC)

What are you avoiding doing? Why haven't you done it yet?

School. Looking for a real job. Laziness. Scared that my brain stopped working. Don't want to start all over. Suffering anxiety attacks at starting something new. Brainwashed. Don't know how to even start. Depressed. Need new friends. Need to lose weight. Addicted to the internet. Love free time. Need a to find the right place to start. Need to gather energy to start. Need motivation. So many reasons why not...

If I had to, I'd spend a week in a treehouse... or a tent

If I had to, I'd spend a week in a treehouse... or a tent.... but never in a underground bunker. Very claustrophobic. In the treehouse or the tent, at least there's a possibility of two or more open spaces, more escape routes, more exits, and definitely no chance of being buried alive.

Randomness. Just total randomness.

Randomness. Just total random ramblings, opinions, ideas, suggestions and observations. And sarcasm, but it has to be funny sarcasm. That's what makes someone funny to me.

One of my friends when I first met him, I thought he was such a serious person. Then one day he made a totally random funny observation about this woman who had robot hair in the dining facility. It was so dead on! I swear every time I saw that woman, I could still hear him!

Sometimes people are just funny without even trying. One of our friends was so klutzy that whenever he came in with an "oh no!" look on his face, we knew he had dropped or ran over something. It was a long running joke to blame him for whatever was destroyed. Don't feel bad for him! 97% of the time, it was his fault!

Some people just have it, some work hard to be.

I don't get fractions...

Tessellation Postage Stamp Mathematics Deutsches Museum

Mathematics! I can do simple math like addition and multiplication but I draw the line at fractions. Fractions and beyond, I start losing all my math knowledge. It starts making my head hurt and when someone tries to explain... it's all mumbo jumbo. I've tried and tried to understand it! I even got a tutor! That didn't help at all. I barely passed my math classes in high school! Algebra classes made high school hell!!

I would not do high school again.

I would not pick a specific group to hang out with in high school. The thing is, my high school was very very small. The whole student body came to 200. Basically, you knew everybody in the whole school. I was a "floater". Never really in any of the groups.

* Jocks: everbody was involved in some kind of sport. Even me, who not very athletic, was in paddling (home is an island surrounded by water).

* Math nerds: a group I never ever fit in. I was a great student but my math skills pulled down my grades. Luckily, the guy I sat next to for 4 years was a math whiz. He was horrible at english which was my best subject. Trade!

* Band geeks: everybody was in band! I played clarinet, not good though but enough to be in the mandatory christmas shows.

* We had no drama but we had Japanese language. I can say: Hi! My name is... Yup! 2 years of Japanese! I wish I had actually paid attention...

* Popular crowd: I had friends in that group. I hung out with them but when they start doing drugs, getting crazy drunk or something stupid like that, I just go back to my nerdy peeps. :-)

* Stoners: yup, had those, too. They went to the public high school. They introduced me to the joys of mary jane but I wasn't very impressed... Okay, maybe one time when we were out kayaking and we had some really really good weed!

I would not do high school again.

Not a hero...

I have never been a hero but I have been very outspoken numerous times for people that were not treated right. Let's just say I have made a enemies that way. I believe in equal rights, and I am outraged when people are screwed over and are too scared to speak for themselves. I do it for them but not always in the most tactful or respectful to the people that did the screwing.
